We were pleased to be able to pass over the TPN Charity Draw Prize of £1000, plus a further £1000 of our own to Norfolk Blood Bikes in support of the great work they do. This entirely volunteer-run organisation ferries essential items around the country for medical emergencies, including blood products and expressed breast milk for premature and sick babies. And we're very proud to be able to something in support supporting them.
Tim Krul Player of the Season
By proadAccountId-417979 24 Jul, 2020
A tough season for the Canaries has meant relegation from the Premier League. However, in a season where the quality of the younger players in the squad has often made the headlines, it is a more senior first team member that has been recognised by the fans and the club for his performances on the pitch. Tim Krul came to Norwich after a hiatus in his career where he found himself, having recovered form injury, unable to force himself into the starting 11 for his then team Brighton. A move to Norwich reignited his career and his performances have made him a firm favourite with the fans. Starlings Transport are proud to sponsor Norwich City's Player of the Season.
Covid-19 Update

THE Pallet Network Ltd and its members, together with the Association of Pallet Networks issued guidance in March regarding the handling of electronic proof of delivery devices (ePODs) and delivery notes in order to deal with the threat of disease transmission. It was agreed that in order to safeguard both employees and customers that the industry as a whole would no longer insist on consignees signing either the ePOD or paperwork as a proof of delivery, instead drivers simply take the name of the consignee, and the time and date of delivery are electronically added at the point of delivery. If customer's own paperwork is required to be signed we advise consignors attach the paperwork in a docs enclosed wallet and request that the consignee signs and then sends either the original or an electronic copy to the consignor. Just one of the steps we are taking to keep you and your customers safe whilst still delivering the excellent service levels we are renowned for.

It was a proud moment to be presented with an Elite Performance Award along with more than 20 other member depots at the recent TPN Members' Meeting held at Aston Villa FC. TPN MD Mark Duggan and William Stobart of Eddie Stobart Logistics took time to explain how important it was for TPN to remain at the forefront of the sector as the leading quality network in the UK - we're just glad to be playing our part.

The 2019 TPN Annual Awards proved to be a night to remember for Starlings Transport and Storage Ltd. Picking up two prestigious awards - Delivery Depot of the Year 2019 & the Operational Excellence Award 2019 was unexpected, but is a ringing endorsement of how we do business and how hard the team works to get the job done well. From drivers, to office staff and managers, by putting service front and centre, we at Starlings and in the wider TPN network offer a sector leading pallet distribution solution, connecting Norfolk business to the whole of the UK and further afield.
